The artwork shown is made up of 100 dierent letters and pieces of letters, fixed on a plywood base. The frame is made of wood and painted with acrylic. Each piece of plywood is hand-painted in acrylic by us. Among the letters you can find the phrase "I am in no condition".
Vladyslav Prozorenko and Diana Tarhonii are couple of contemporary artists known as PROZZORRR. Vladyslav hails from Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, while Diana was born in the small town of Kostopil in
Western Ukraine.
Together, they graduated from the Kyiv University of Culture and Arts in 2018 with a specialization in environmental design.
Each of them began their creative journey from early childhood. During his teenage years, Vladyslav preferred watercolours, portraits, and sketches, while
at that same time, Diana immersed herself in capturing the Ukrainian landscapes with gouache and acrylics.
After meeting at university, Vladyslav and Diana decided to merge their creative practices. Over the course of 6 years, they made many successful and
less successful attempts to implement their varied creative ideas. They always strive to create something modern and stylish, but most
importantly: unique. This prompted Vladyslav to come up with a new technique to create captivating compositions in wood. After completing the first piece in March 2021 it was clear that this was exactly what they had been searching for.
Over the past years, the artists have been perfecting the art of creating compositions out of different wooden particles and letters. They try to expand
the possibilities of their technique and experiment with materials.
Currently, Vladyslav and Diana operate from their home studio in Kyiv, Ukraine, where they continue to bring their artistic visions to life.
