About the Item
My intuition heavily influences my process of image-making.
As I develop my work with the process, the meaning of work evolves.
Once the work is finished, it is for the viewer to determine what they feel. I have used empty cylindrical forms. Geometrical forms are part of my work. The creepers around these cylinder forms are
trying to hold them gently. Deep golden yellow colours in the background and
poppy flowers in the foreground create a feeling of synesthesia in this work. Humans talk about the flow of life. Sometimes we say let’s go with the flow, but are we seriously managing to follow this path? The red Poppy flower is the significance
of eternal sleep and love, which we can say is the ending of something old and
the beginning of something new.
