Bold Face after Picasso with a storm of bold abstract colors on verso, by California-based artist Ricardo de Silva (Brazilian/American, 20th Century). This artwork is on "Arches France" paper.
Signed and dated at the bottom right corner, "R. de Silva 86."

Front has artists impression stamp on paper "RDS" in circle with "From the Desk of Ricardo de Silva" surrounding at lower right.
Some age toning to paper
From a collection of Ricardo de Silva's work and memorabilia. DeSilva was a gallery owner, first in Santa Barbara in the 1960's and 70's, then in San Jose in the 1980's. He was dedicated to promoting the work of talented upcoming artists, including Kogyo and Hasui Kiyochika, Robert Frame, Jim Stuckenberg, Alice Robertson Carr, Deborah Eve Alastra, Russell Kelly, and Diana Mark.
