  • Psychedelic Abstract Interior in Oil on Paper

Psychedelic Abstract Interior in Oil on Paper Moody abstract by Jennie T. Rafton (American, b. 1925). There is a figure in the upper left corner of this piece, looking out over the scene. There appear to be architectural elements such as windows, doors, and stairs, but the composition is highly abstracted, bordering on psychedelic. Of particular note are the symbols inscribed into the yellow shape in the lower left corner. Inscribed in the lower right corner and acquired with a collection of the artist's work. Presented in a new white mat. Mat size: 20"H x 16"W Jennie T. Rafton (American, b. 1925) is a well-known California artist, primarily for her abstract compositions. Amit Kalla - Untitled - 60 inches (Dia) (unframed size) Acrylic on canvas ** Free Shipment ...... will be delivered in rolled form. Style : Kalla’s work can be represented by his commitment to experimenting with social engagement through the arts. It is here his strength lies. Through his deep connection to a cultural expression of a universal spirituality and passionate sense of humanity Kalla, continuously draws people from all communities into acts of creativity in the belief that through creativity people are empowered and communities move incrementally closer to truth. His poetry and paintings are spiritually intuited. While his poems create a secretive world of words, where silence speaks his paintings are calligraphic and draw on the same silent unknowing of invented texts. His paintings represent moments on the continuum; a slice snatched from his deeper hidden journey. The strength of Kalla’s work is that it represents an Indian artist’s quest for an indigenous tenor rather than a superficial inventory of native motifs, there is nothing about his work which relies on a static Indian Identity. About the Artist & his work : Born : 1980 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Education : 2005 - Masters in Art and Aesthetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi 2003 - Graduation in Art History, National Museum Institute specializing in ancient Indian art...

  • Composition 1992., Canvas, oil, 50x60 cm
    By Igor Leontiev
    Located in Riga, LV
Composition 1992., Canvas, oil, 50x60 cm Abstract composition "Composition" is an abstract artwork created in 1992. The medium used is oil on canvas, and the dimensions of the artwork are 50x60 cm. As an abstract composition, the artwork does not represent specific objects or subjects in a realistic manner. Instead, it focuses on elements such as color, form, line, and texture to create a visual expression of the artist's ideas and emotions. The oil medium provides a rich and vibrant quality to the artwork, allowing for the blending of colors and the creation of various textures. This creates depth and visual interest within the composition. Igor Leontiev (1957) - one of the leading independent painters in Latvia Born in Riga, Latvia.
