About the Item

TAKE ME TO THE OCEAN III [2022] Please note that insitu images are purely an indication of how a piece may look "Take Me To The Ocean III" was inspired by the beautiful pristine turquoise waters and golden sunshine off the coast of Menorca on holiday this summer. Gorgeous turquoises mixed with golds and black. An original one of a kind artwork full of deep textures using artist clay, radiant with metallic gold highlights. This piece really does glimmer in any light, revealing a beautiful highly textured canvas. Staple free edges stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang. Signed on the front. A perfect addition to your home or workplace. Sarah grew up in North Yorkshire, being surrounded by beautiful landscapes. She has painted since a young child and continued as a hobby whilst working in graphic design. After having a family of her own Sarah’s artwork started getting interest from friends and family until the point where she started to make a full-time career out of her art commissions. Sarah paints with acrylics and is most well known for her use of textures and metallic golds, with multiple layers manipulated to create abstract works. Her paintings continually evolve and are a constant exploration of the juxtaposition between depth and light using texture. She is described as an Interior Design Artist and is known and used in the industry for high spec luxury newbuild large projects, and luxury self-build homes, as well as luxury yachts. “I am a huge fan of non-figurative art, and just love texture and organic abstracts. I get the most joy out of paintings inspired by nature, which has always impressed and surprised me with its beauty and magnificence. I am compelled to share my obsession and passion for painting. My work is a highly intuitive process, with sometimes unexpected results at the end of the painting journey. I am guided by the emotion that Mother Nature awakens in me, translating this through to artwork that provokes an emotional experience. I am doing what I love and hope that joy and energy comes across in my work. I want clients to love their artwork and experience the same emotion that I had whilst painting it!” In homes and private collections throughout the UK and across the world, Sarah is a rising star in the art world. original Acrylic on stretched canvas Image size: H:100 cm x W:120 cm Complete Size of Unframed Work: H:100 cm x W:120 cm x D:4cm Sold Unframed
