About the Item
Contemporary abstract acrylic on canvas painting by Polish artist Slawomir Kuszczak. Composition is geometric, divided onto two fields. Upper one is black with few colorful shapes and the lower one in different shades of grey- there are drawn basic shapes.
SŁAWOMIR KUSZCZAK (born in 1966) Studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań (painting) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (graphic arts). Diploma in painting, with a honourable distinction, at the atelier of professor Jan Świtka. Since 1990, he has been working at the Academy of Fine Arts ( University of the Arts ) in Poznań. Kuszczak was awarded scholarships of DAAD and of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. He held lectures at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (Slovenia), at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and at the Academy of Architecture and Design in Prague. He completed teaching internships at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin and at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Braunschweig. He presented his own paintings, drawings and graphics on dozens of individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad.

SHIPMENT
The painting may arrive rolled in a strong tube or a box. Such a transport method is very safe for oversized works and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched by placing canvas onto wood stretcher bars and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival.

Sławomir Kuszczak
Sławomir Wojciech Kuszczak was born in 1966 in Rawicz. He studied painting at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań and graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. He graduated in painting with honors at the painting studio of prof. Jan Świtka Since 1990, he has been working at the University of the Arts in Poznań. Kuszczak was awarded scholarships of DAAD and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
