About the Item
River 30
Staszek Kotowski studied at Warsaw’s Academy of Fine Arts from 1979 to 1985.
After he had been awarded a Master’s degree in Fine Art, he taught there as an assistant professor for four years before coming to the US where he now lives.
Many of Staszek’s paintings are inspired by the mystery and the vastness of seas, skies and landscape.
These spaces invoke contemplation, they awaken our spirit, and hope that we may remain unobstructed by the tumult of life in industrial society - we may connect back to ourselves. Oceans and waters, not fully explored yet but being at the foundation of life, give us possibilities to contemplate . They resonate in us with their space, rhythms, power and always living texture and color.
Paintings in private collections in the USA, Switzerland, Germany, France.
Paintings featured in interiors by Juan Pablo Molyneux , Scott Snyder Inc., Harry Heissman Inc., Laura Bohn Design, Jackie Maritz Interiors , Lifestyle &Interiors by Lisa.

- Alone Semi Abstract LandscapeLocated in Lake Worth Beach, FLAlone Barry Sons American Contemporary artist. Studied art in south Louisiana under the tutelage of two gifted teachers and self Having entered and won ribbons both locally as well as nationally has brought my work to the international stage. It has hung in Museum exhibitions and hangs in Korea, Turkey and England. Artist statement: I am a child of the Atchafalaya Basin, whose rivers and marshes run through the history of my family. Having been raised as a fur trapper’s son, in the United States largest swamp wilderness, I could always see the beauty in our coastal waters. The ever-changing lights, sounds and smells still resonate in my memory as if they were yesterday. After a 40-year absence, I returned to the marshes of my childhood and what I witnessed east of the basin was the degradation of our coastal wetlands. I had to put it on canvas. I had never offered my painting to the world; now it was a must. The Love I have the river and the Atchafalaya Basin is profound. Our marshes must be returned to it’s glory. While my inspiration was born in Louisiana it has grown to include all of nature. The painting of the coastal marshes...Category

- Deborah Bigeleisen - Dynamism 4, Painting 2012By Deborah BigeleisenLocated in Greenwich, CTMost of Deborah’s paintings concentrate on a single bloom, large in size, so stunning that they command the view of the audience. With great affection she takes care to capture every detail of their texture and shape. Through the sophistication of her palette, she captures all of the fragility and beauty of her subject. The painterly appearance of her works belies the fact that their buttery-looking surfaces are actually created by layers of opaque paint and transparent washes. She pants in oils because she loves their organic purity, their richness, and the sensual physical qualities of the medium. Focusing on beauty and aesthetics, she uses the glazing techniques developed by the Dutch Master Artists...Category
