Steven is also part of the 'Outsiders ' school of art, originating in France in the 19th century. Also known as the Naïve movement, and was comprised of people with no art training at all , who suddenly started to paint. Many of them from very challenging backgrounds. All they had was talent that was never before tapped. In no time this movement became a major art phenomenon and spread all over the world.
His work, however, has brunched out past the movement and his use of earth elements renders a basic and raw interpretation to his message.
The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity and a letter of appraisal.
