About the Item
Valeria Vilar dissolves and gives rise to strokes of abstraction through figuration allowing viewers to recompose the story. She reconstructs and creates spaces from memories, tales, dreams, and recondite places of imagination and fantasy.
In 2011, Valeria Vilar was selected to be part of the Artist Program of the University of Torcuato Di Tella. In 2013, Vilar founded Casa Plaza – a visual arts school for children. She has participated in several solo and group exhibitions worldwide. She works and lives in Buenos Aires.
