Abstract, surreal, cartoonish, sci-fi fantastic, metaphysical, apocalyptic-Baroque - all of these fit but also fall short of fully describing his art." (Edward M. In 2017, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth presented the retrospective exhibition "Invented Worlds of Valton Tyler."
