Concern For The Reef.
An intricate acrylic from Walshe, reflecting his concern for the well being of the oceans. Meticulously painted in his trademark pointilist style, this work combines social conscience with wonderful art.
Acrylic by Walshe b. 1947
Walshe was born in Liverpool in 1947 and moved to Cornwall in the 1960's. Here he was a founder member of the fledgling surf scene around the Newquay area. An intensely private person painting is his form of communication and Walshe loves "the collusion between different people and the water".
