"DayofRest" is a large, unique oil on canvas painting of German artist Willi Bucher. It depicts printed words that flow like a mantra on the canvas and in thick oil colors dripping abstract lines with great depth and intensity. 150 x 120 cm, signed and dated on back. Comes with certificate.
German artist Willi Bucher, born in 1948, lives and works in Darmstadt, Germany. Since 1980 he has been working as a painter, video-artist and on occasion as an art exhibition architect. He has exhibited extensively in Europe and the US. Bucher's non-objective painting stands in the tradition of Informel. Bucher creates "spacialised" pictures that are luminous and leave the viewer with his or her very own impressions of his abstract expressionist space perception.
