About the Item
Spring Field, 2018 is by Japanese woman artist Yukari Edamitsu. The theme of Spring Field, an oil painting on canvas, is the landscape (outer world) in contrast with the artist's inner landscape. Yukari's abstract paintings concern themselves with primarily the inner world as well as concepts such as chance and order: "I explore questions about life, human emotion, commonality, and feelings which remain unchanging since antiquity when people referenced the celestial landscape of the moon, sun and stars." Yukari's paintings remain informed and inspired by bold colors, shapes, and patterns.
Artist's signature on verso (back of painting).
Provenance: Edamitsu Studio
