Artist: Zhixiang Wang 2017 M.F.A- University of Academia Albertina Belle Arti di Torino in Italy. 'Allergies' is a series of artworks that the artist currently creating, which concern the "oversensitive" mental state of this generation of social groups, as well as social problems such as anxiety, numbness, apathy and so on. The source of inspiration and creative ideas are mostly derived from the feelings of the surrounding things. It is a kind of contradiction and description of his inner world to the so-called "truth", and it is also a spiritual concept expressed by the world in which the artist freely shapes and creates himself. They are habitual and involuntary. Those twisted lines and highly saturated colours are a visual expression of "authentic anxiety", and this way of painting will relax the artist's creative state. For contemporary society, what an artist does is more derived from the spiritual life that needs a steady stream of creativity and forward-looking thinking, with the ultimate goal of changing the traditional thinking mode and aesthetic trends in the future. The internet dominates everything and fast-paced life shows the inner emptiness and anxiety of this generation. In such a situation, as a member of society, the artist has to isolate himself from the complex environment and be a sober bystander, as an artist needs to figure out what the result he wants. Express it in its own unique artistic language, and have a certain resonance and connection with the viewer.
