Alejandra Quintanilla graduated with a degree in Arts from the University of Monterrey UDEM and attended a residency program at the Cooper Union School of Art in New York.
Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums in Mexico, the United States, Italy, Brazil, among them el Museo Rufino Tamayo, el Centro de las Artes, el Museo del Chopo, la Bienal Monterrey now Femsa, el Centro Roberto Garza Sada.
Her work is in private and public collections among them the Museum of Fine Art, Houston and the Museum of Latin American Art, California.
Alejandra Quintanilla
Alejandra Quintanilla studied and received a degree in Arts at the University of Monterrey UDEM. She also attended a residency program at the Cooper Union School of Art in New York. Her work has been exposed to individuals and collections in museums in Mexico, the United States, Bolivia, and Brazil. Alejandra was a selected artist at the Monterrey Arts Center at the 16th General Assembly at the Center Roberto Garza Sada. And from a collectivist group, she exhibited at the Marco Museum (Mty), Rufino Tamayo Museum (Mexico, DF), Palazzo Delle Papesse (Siena, Italy), Arts Center (Mty), Museo del Chopo (Mexico, DF). Her work was selected in XIV Bienal de Pintura Rufino Tamayo, ArtEmergente Bienal Monterrey, Third and Monterrey, to name a few and her work was exhibited in fairs as well as in Maco in the Arco de Madrid. Alejandra's work was in the collection of the Museum of Fine Art, Houston and the Museum of Latin American Art, California.
