I love this scene, the hundreds of acres of golden grasslands at the base of the Grape Vine just north of Los Angeles. The layers of hills, their meadows defined by cows speckled on the hillside. The following mesa topped with a billowy frosting of drying grasses. Backed by bigger mountains growing fainter and higher. The glow of weather over Frazier Park mountain.
