Twitter. 41 25 x 12 “ These are actually some kind of magpie. This painting started out as “bird Songâ€, this is a refinement. It is a simple concept, but very hangable. I keep it in one of my airbnbs and it sells regularly. I like the message that animals have language. Birds are bright animals. Crows can recognize the faces of their neighbors. I want to know more birds. I like that at Sunset Ranch where I live, a peacock looks in the window and I can always here the muttering of the ducks and the bravado of the roosters. There is kinship here, they have a language and we should be listening to them more.
