Interesting and well-painted American turn of the 19th-century animal scene of an interior of a barn with cows, calves, and chickens
The piece has a great deal of charm and is very well painted. The painting shows a lot of influence with the work of various European mid-19th-century animal painters and this subject matter must have been very sought after as many painters in both America and Europe painted similar compositions.
This piece is framed in its original frame and it came from a private collection in Ohio. The painting is in perfect condition.
