Ant’s Life explores the concept of sameness. In religious thought—whether through reincarnation or the idea of original sin—it suggests that we all live essentially the same life. Political ideologies often impose sameness through collective identity. Meanwhile, biology, psychology, and neuroscience all point to shared chemical processes in the human body, reinforcing a sense of uniformity.
The ant, chosen as the central figure, symbolizes ideal order within a perfect society—where sameness is fully realized. The animated ant head, placed like a sticker on a naturalistic human body, creates a deliberate contrast, highlighting the tension between the artificial and the organic. Likewise, the green screen background alludes to a space where any reality can be fabricated, further emphasizing the theme of constructed identity.
