About the Item

LOOK FOR FREE SHIPPING AT CHECKOUT. Questioning is an 16 x 20 oil painting of two sheep who look as if they are in search of something. Questioning is by Texas artist Luke Autrey who lives and paints in Austin, Texas. In this painting are Texas sheep and it makes us wonder what they are looking at. Or are they looking at someone? Or perhaps an Aussie cattle dog? Are they trying to decide which way is home? Luke is a master in realist painting and there is another example in the images of a Texas Longhorn. He is also known for his pet portraits by commission (send message). Custom Framed Born in Sulphur, Louisiana, Luke Autrey is largely a self-taught artist living in Austin, Texas. With an interest in art and painting since childhood, Luke was inspired to start painting late in life by his family & partner. Luke was also inspired and given direction by family member, American Impressionist James Scoppettone. Luke's current series is inspired by his upbringing on a farm in a very rural area where ominous skies or oncoming dusk would end time outside. Also included in the images are other available paintings by Luke Autrey.
