About the Item
"Eventide Echoes" Walks in the evening with the waves becoming gentle and the sun tucking in for the night. The sky is an incredible site of what appears to be deep blue and sprinkles of leftover golds, yellows, violet and orange. It's the end of the day. The evening. Note: As an artist, I don't often create on the floor of my studio but with this particular canvas, I crawled around as I have seen Joan Mitchell do in some of her paintings. Reading up and enjoying several of her art books I found that she and I had a similar dilemma with limited wall space or studio space in general. At some point, I may take her idea of triptychs in large format to create the massive works that she is famous for. I love that idea and I may attempt that at some point. I wanted to apologize for the image here as the only way I could take it was, like some of my other very large originals, from a ladder above. Of course, the ripple will not be in the painting once it is professionally stretched.
