"WHEN THE SKY MEETS THE SEA" Original: ships rolled in a tube Signature: is on the back and the Certificate Of Authenticity (not on the front so the original can be hung in four orientations) Medium: Acrylic on canvas Frame: unframed but could be done by the collector Framing: not necessary as gallery canvas depth is used with art falling over all sides to the original Inspiration: Darlene Watson works with most large-scale abstraction pieces with spontaneous gestural brushstrokes of complete abandon. She is uninhibited and expresses her inner thoughts, feelings, surroundings or story to the art. Rich earthy hues may appear from nature trails or vibrant, bold and powerful colours gathered from sunsets, leaves or images from fashion or design. Natural settings, textures and colours are always the centre stage for impressions and thoughts that move into her creations. Shorelines and sky blue always play a role in her imagination and creative process. NOTE: there are ripples in the photo of the full image that will disappear once the original is professionally stretched.
