David Konigsberg is a conceptual realist who works across genres to portray transitional spaces, metaphoric moments and alternative histories. A long-time member of the Gowanus and Red Hook neighborhoods in Brooklyn, he now lives with his family full time in Hudson and employs the Hudson Valley’s storied landscape as the subject and setting for his work.

David Konigsberg extends his depiction of a life imagined between heaven and earth, using storied vistas of the Hudson Valley as his enduring backdrop. He captures the vastness of our natural surroundings while weaving a host of clever idiosyncrasies into the clouded skies and rolling meadows.
