About the Item

Shipping Procedure FREE Shipping Worldwide Ships in a well-protected tube from Nigeria This work is unique, not a print or other type of copy. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Love is sacred. Love is pure. Love is giving one's totality. Love is not pretense. However, a deceptive love sequel results in a person's broken heart and soul, which later becomes stiff and resistant. There is stiffness and resistance because of the fear of being betrayed again, of being used and dumped, of being called a fool, and of being trampled upon. So, a firm NO is the response to each white rose given again and again. Once bitten, twice shy. Once given a white rose, twice careful of falling prey to the trap of deceptive love. Maybe one day, sincere love will come to stay. Till then, many white roses offered will be rejected with a sigh. This is the story of the lady here. About Artist Agbalaya Abdulahi Opeyemi, born in Lagos, Nigeria, is a versatile artist and graduate of Yaba College of Technology. His artistic journey began with training under Mr Owolabi Samson in 2013/2015, furthering his skills and knowledge under the mentorship of Akinola Taoheed Olaitan. Balancing art as a hobby and a potential career. Opeyemi’s use of shapes, colors, and composition in his works conveys a connection message. The shapes represent life’s difficulties, while the colors define the dynamics of life. Employing black as a background color symbolizes the dark shadows of life, while brighter colors like purple signify strength, ambition, creativity, and hope. The overall composition speaks of success, fulfillment, and the satisfaction derived from achieving one’s dreams. Opeyemi’s creations carry a unique message “ FACE YOUR FEARS “ He aims to encourage individuals plagued by fears induced by challenges, struggles, doubt, failure, or mistakes. Through his art, he advocates for pushing through uncertainties toward one’s dreams, emphasizing that challenges are temporary obstacles in the pursuit of life’s aspirations. Beyond its message to others, painting is deeply personal for Opeyemi, serving as a means to articulate the words he may not speak. His art portrays his reality, echoing Frida Kahlo’s sentiment that “ I don’t paint dreams or nightmares . I paint my reality “.

"Your shadow is all of the things, ‘positive’ and ‘negative,’ that you’ve denied about yourself and hidden beneath the surface of the mask you forgot that you’re wearing.” – Oli Anderson My shadow is a reflection of who I am. It is like a mirror that shows the reality of who I am. No matter how I try to deny my personality, my shadow reminds me of what I am made of.
