Original painting on paper by Agnese Negriba- In this artwork a female figure is depicted in a sitting position. She holds a book placed in front of her. The depicted person has retreated to her inner space and is enjoying an afternoon read surrounded by a blooming garden. Colours of sand brown, dark brown, white and yellow create calming and gentle mood. Floral and serene atmosphere soothes her and she gradually becomes part in this universe herself.

ARTIST BIO: Agnese Negriba is an image-maker working in the fields of painting, illustration, and graphic design. She graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (London) in 2016. Agnese has lived and worked in London, Oxford, Paris, Riga, and Jurmala (a scenic seaside resort town by the Baltic Sea).
Agnese finds inspiration in various textual materials - poetry, texts about Indian philosophy and Yoga, classic novels. In her works Agnese explores various themes such as pulsation of life, fragility and power of nature, return to primordial elements, love, sensuality, serenity, and more.
