Date: 1908 Medium: Gouache on Three Illustration Boards Dimensions: 2.50" x 32.50"; Two at 12.50" x 9.75", Overall 12" x 53" Signature: Each Signed or Monogrammed Large group of cupids playing and reading music Illustration in three parts, 1908, Framed all together On verso or margin of each: “Copyright A. R. Beggs & Co NY ” A great deal of Wheelan's work was destroyed in the San Francisco earthquake, and again in a fire in her New York Studio in the 1930s. Wheelan was closely involved for years with set and costume design for the Belasco Theatre in New York.
