About the Item
The painting “Violinist” was created in 2009, when the career of the world famous pianist David Garrett was just beginning. I saw in the magazine his small photograph from a concert. I was struck by his emotionality and unusual appearance. I came up with the idea to create a diptych, in which our world is intertwined with the unreal world. This is the right side of the diptych. The wind blew, and the notes fly away from the music stand.
The picture does not use paper for the image of notes. They are depicted using special techniques. You can verify this if you look at the gap in the place where the paper should be. There is a canvas through.
