Bernard "Bernie" Fuchs (1932 -): An American born illustrator whose career began as a commercial artist designing advertisements for automobile makers. However, in the late 1950s he moved to Connecticut and with that coincided a dramatic shift in his artworks to illustrations for magazines, such as: Sports Illustrated, TV Guide, Cosmopolitan and many others. He is best known for his illustrations of golf, where were frequently commissioned by Sports Illustrated. He also produced a series of limited edition prints for the PGA Hall of Fame, was commissioned by Presidents Johnson, Ford, Carter and Reagan, won many awards and bestowed with prestigious honors.
