His art, came to popular attention when he was commissioned to create 5 large scale paintings for the lobby of The Palladium Theatre in New York City of Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Neil Young, Frank Zappa and Hall and Oates In addition to those, his paintings are in many influential corporate and private collections, including:
WARNER BROS., RCA RECORDS, ELTON JOHN, ROD STEWART, HUGH M. HEFNER, DAVID BRENNER, MONIQUE VAN VOOREN, AND SCHENLEY INDUSTRIES to name a few.
This acrylic and oil painting with metallic paint, Spray paint and mixed media measures 36x52". Titled "The Wild Ones Brando and G", it is in Ceravolo's classic urban Pop style. In this mixed media painting on canvas the image of Brando and G on the motorcycle is not created from a photograph, it is created by Ceravolo directly from his large scale original pop art painting which he then transfers with pigmented inks to canvas at his studio. Ceravolo then hand paints the canvas with acrylic, oil stick and metallic spray paint to add color and movement to this work. This canvas also features Ceravolo's gopher muse "G" as he stands on the motorcycle looking up at the trophy that is tied to the bike.
