About the Item
Conference Pears is a unique oil on canvas painting by contemporary artist Christophe Dupety, dimensions are 130 × 81 cm (51.2 × 31.9 in).
The artwork is signed, sold unframed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The artist has chosen fruits as the central theme for this series of oils on canvas. Christophe Dupety's goal is more of an impression, a sensation, than an accurate drawing.
The artist's endeavour is "to bring out the joy of painting in his work, i.e. colour, fluidity, spontaneity..." His gesture, sharp and vigorous, is often visible on the canvas. He also leaves room for "accidents" (drops and dripping) which "can occasionally give something to a work, an energy, some joy, something unexpected."
Through this explosion of colours, both energetic and joyous, Christophe Dupety gives us a veritable ode to nature and to life. An avid fan of an easily readable, direct form of painting, the artist is looking to arouse an immediate emotional response.

Christophe Dupety
Christophe Dupety’s paintings express the vitality and spontaneity of gesture, free of all interference. They also reflect a taste for taking risks: refusing to control everything but, on the contrary, wanting to confront the chaos of life by involving phenomena linked to weightlessness, flow and accidents. For the artist, these can be used in a way that contributes to what he wants us to see: the joy of painting. An artist who favours a form of painting that can be read immediately, Christophe Dupety seeks to encourage a spontaneous emotional response in the viewer. “I always try to emphasise the joy of painting in my work: colour, shape and fluidity, and above all a sort of graphic challenge in which things always seem spontaneous and graphic in any case, because drawing has always been very important for me.’’

Large Pop Art Oil Painting "Pear" Modernist Colorful Composition Suzanne Mears
Located in Surfside, FL
Bold, colorful, still life oil painting of a pear. In lush, vibrant color.
SUZANNE WALLACE MEARS
During college she focused on painting and clay. Then it became photography and clay, then only clay,
then kiln formed glass and today its kiln formed glass, painting and plasma cut steel sculpture. She also works in oil paint and encaustic. Reminiscent of the color works of Jim DIne and the fruit paintings of Tom Seghi.
She never works with only one medium. She uses color and texture to create energetic, luminous, joyous works
with the glass. Bright, bold color using reds, blues, oranges reflect my travels in color saturated countries such as Tibet, Nepal, China and Mexico. At random I use solid color fields as a challenge to my driving love of vibrant color. Her favorite themes are inspired by nature and antiquity. Kiln formed glass uses flat sheets of glass which are cut into shapes, layered and incorporate accessory elements of frits, copper wire and mesh, pieces of sheet copper
or brass and dichroic glass fired in a kiln.

"Grannies" (2023) by Carrie Goller, Original Oil Painting of Green Apples
Located in Denver, CO
Carrie Goller's (US based) "Grannies" (2023) is an original, oil on canvas painting that depicts three granny smith apples. This piece is framed and ready to hang.
Born and raised on Washington’s tiny Bainbridge Island, artist Carrie Goller recalls being advised as a child to pursue a career in fine art. After an early career as a paralegal, a life-changing experience led her to become a serious and dedicated artist.
Once I finally indulged my need to create art, the door was opened and I haven’t looked back. I’ve been making up for lost time; a bit obsessed. Art is now a necessity for me. I find true expression and balance in that world, says Goller.
Goller is inspired by simple, sensuous organic forms and the realm of colors, shapes and textures found in nature. Her thoughtful approach to subject matter can be evidenced from her tender still life work, along with a passion for rendering impressionist oils of daily life. From her Bainbridge Island and Hood Canal...
