A very whimsical depiction of a courtyard in Santorini. This piece captures the essence of a breezy summer day in this beautiful location with great energy . Done in a very whimsical and impressionistic style, the colors are bright with thick use of paint. Painted oil on board, signed lower left.
This painting measures 24 x 18 inches
Having built a diverse body of work since her early career ranging from portraits to abstract paintings of the universe, today Cindy's works exhibit a more impressionistic technique. She is mostly known for her consistent impressionistic street scenes which resemble the Ashcan school, depicting old cars on the road during the early 20th Century. Her whimsicality is precious, leaving much room for nostalgia in her works. For more than a decade her works have been a part of several important Exhibitions throughout New York City. Her works are part of private collections including ‘Dr. Issac Shohar’ and ‘Zion Yakabov’ in Tel Aviv, Israel, and ‘Alex Acevedo’ on Madison Ave., New York.
