About the Item
“Blow up” is a peculiar hommage towards Michelangelo Antonioni and Julio Cortazar. The color element here almost disappears, leaving a kind of neutral beginning, an elusive, but quite real equivalent of a fading light ... The metaphor “Blow up” is a rebirth, a new life ... A form of mental dialogue between the artist and the viewer by means of plastic language of the painting.
In the modern world, the artist is a peculiar explorer of the time that he lives In. The “main character” of this world is a man whose gaze is turned inward. This view projects its existential reality, where the figurative language of painting is a method of transmitting abstract images of the experiences of the main characters and the time in which they exist on an equal footing with the viewer. Pictures of Daria Kotlyarova have no plot, at first glance, they have no action, but there is a moment. The moment before the second “before” ... and the viewer stops and freezes in tension, this is almost a psychological “cinema reception” that refers us to David Hockney’s paintings. The search for personal identification and artistic language can be seen in the hidden quotations of conceptual realism, symbolism and decorative principles of pop art.
Daria Kotlyarova's works are in the collections of the Museum of Russian Art TMORA (USA, Minneapolis), the Kaluga State Art Museum, and in private collections in Russia, Italy, the USA, France, Serbia, and Croatia. Kotlyarova is a participant in exhibitions of young artists in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Central House of Artists, the Museum of Revolution, the 1st Moscow International Biennale of Young Art, the Moscow International Art Salon, the Want Art Gallery (New York, USA) and others. In March 2018 in London, her work was presented at the Gracious Heart charity auction at Christie's office with the support of Askeri Gallery.

Hide and Seek (portrait) - abstract art , made in black and white, blue colors.
The game of hide and seek. The leitmotif of the repeatability of the plot causes fear, fear is very romantic, this is the main motive of surrealism. Intrusive repeat of the plot. No fate. There is a choice. If everything is predetermined, there is no one to judge.

Those who are confident in their feelings (love)
By Igor Fomin
Located in Fort Lee, NJ
At all time they are together, a man and a woman. Duality of differences, two views, different accents, but in one wholeness. Fomin is a fairy-tale artist, a romance teller, who is choosing never ending life stories for a viewer. He is telling these stories with realistic language of the artist, citing the language of Bruegel sentimental sincerity of Chagall, but also a precise coloristic scheme, that was a signature of French Art in the second half of XX century.
The fantastic World of the artist is perfectly detailed that makes it truthful. This artistic language principle defined the style of the artist long before he entered the Art World market. His love for Italian Renaissance was born in Minsk during his study years. Art, Music and Architecture made Igor Fomin...
