About the Item

In this work, the artist portrays a woman who has allowed herself to let go of effort. Her slightly slumped posture is not weakness, but a conscious decision to release the tension of expectation. She exists in a space where she no longer has to be “correct.” Her nudity is not performative — it simply is. The painting captures a moment of quiet return to self, stripped of all roles. A moment where you can let your shoulders drop, let your breath soften and allow yourself to just be.
