Robert Moesle was born in San Jose, California in 1932. He graduated from San Jose State College and attended The Ruskin School of Art, Oxford University, England. Moesle lives in the Chateau region of France, which he finds to be an ideal location for a watercolorist. Moesle paints outside and enjoys watching the landscape change through the seasons.
