Athena 72 X 60 Acrylic and Ink
Emily Klima is a visual artist based in New York City. She earned her BFA from Boston University Collage of Fine Art. Klima's creative process draws inspiration from her own experiences and the world around her. Her intuitive approach to her work is a visual journal into the imaginings of her mind. Her paintings are alive with broad strokes of brilliant colors and an energy created by drips and splatters, mixed media collage elements and story. Klima's most recent body of work is a continuous exploration of the tension between order and chaos---Discipline and freedom.
