Emily Royer is a painter who lives in Philadelphia and holds a BFA from University of the Arts, Pennsylvania. Her figurative work builds an imaginary world of relationships where color, body distortion and artifacts create poignant tableau of personal interactions based on memory. Her work is held in private collections as well as the MAADI and Rad Hourani Foundations. Her work has been featured in print publications including ArtMaze and Warm Milk magazines. In 2022, her work was included in an exhibition at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal and at Spring/Break Art Show, NYC. She has also shown in galleries including The Philadelphia Art Alliance (PA), Pageant : Soloveev (PA), Field Projects (NYC), and Maake Projects (PA).
