About the artist.
Florent Chade, 1896-1985 Is a French painter noted for his landscape and cityscape depicting the south of France, especially the region of Grenoble and the mountains surrounding the city. He also did numerous paintings of the lanscape and mountains of Haute Savoie in south east of France.
He gained recognition very early in his career as a talented mountain painter. His paintings have been featured in numerous expositions in France and Europe. Many of them have been offer and sold at major auctions house. His work is held in numerous collections in France and Europe.
