98 x 36 cm each without frame - 112 x 50 cm with frame Antique gilded and shaped wooden box frames Expertise by Prof. Giancarlo Sestieri This marvellous pair of flower vases has been attributed by critics to Francesco Lavagna (1684 - 1724), a talented exponent of the Neapolitan artistic scene in the mid-18th century. The particular pictorial style played out in interesting chiaroscuro passages combined with intense colour choices makes this pair of canvases an exquisite example of the late Baroque Italian still-life movement. Price valid for the two canvases.
