About the Item
Portrait Mick Jagger" by Heiko Mattausch (Germany based) is an original oil painting that depicts a portrait of music icon, Mick Jagger.
I am a painter and graphic artist living and working in Leipzig, Germany. I was born and raised in a provincial town nearby, in a region called Saxony. As long as I can remember, I felt drawn to painting. However, after school, I started studying architecture and then worked in the profession for a few years in Hamburg. While I quickly realized it wasn't the right thing for me, it took me a few detours before I finally did study painting. The trigger was a study visit to Andalucia, Spain. I worked part-time in an architectural office and painted during my spare time. Back in Germany, I continued to do exactly that until I became a full-time painter at the end of my studies. I still am a full-time painter today.

Cartoonist linked to Editorial Bruguera and its agency Creaciones Editoriales. She got her start drawing girls' or adventure comics in Stories and the Sissi Graphic Novel Supplement. Much of her work from the 1960s was aimed at the European market for young women's magazines through the Selecciones Ilustradas agency. Anecdotally, he collaborated with Marvel Comics, drawing a romantic comic based on a script by Stan Lee for the title My Love (later republished in Our Love Story), credited there as Enrique Monserratt.
He retired from comics in the 1980s to focus on painting.
He was also an Olympic gymnast, a member of the Barcelona Gymnastics Center and the Barcino Tennis Club. Honora Berg (American, 1897-1985) was an Abstract Expressionist and Bay Area Figurative School artist who studied at the San Francisco Art Institute with David Park, Elmer Bischoff and James Budd Dixon. Berg's friend Edith Truesdell — David Park's aunt — suggested a move to California in 1951 to study under Park. She exhibited at the 25th Annual Drawing, Print and Sculpture Exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, 1961.
