Oil on canvas. Condition is very good. Signed lower left. Inscribed Paris and dated 1904. Overall with gold leaf over wood frame frame 28 1/2 x 34 1/2 inches.

Jean Beauduin
Jean Beauduin (Belgian, 1851-1916) was a painter, draughtsman and illustrator of genre scenes, portraits and landscapes. He received his artistic training at the Academy of Antwerp, after which he moved to Paris to work as an illustrator for numerous newspapers and magazines, such as "Le Figaro", "La France illustrée", "Panurge", "La Silhouette", "La Chronique Parisienne" and "Paris illustrée". He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris.
