Biografía de Josep Serrasanta (Buenos Aires 1916 - Barcelona 1998)
Josep Serrasanta nació en Buenos Aires (Argentina) en 1916 y falleció en Valdoreix(Barcelona) en el año 1998, de padres catalanes de nacionalidad española. Su padre era de Guissona y su madre de Vilamitjana. Cursó estudios de Bellas Artes, posteriormente fué discipulo del gran pintor Francesc Gimeno. Principales obras pintadas por el Artista: Las Tres Cúpulas de la Catedral y la Igleia de Sant Pere, ambas de Lleida, la primera ganada por oposición. La Iglesia de Santa Maria de Castelldefels (Barcelona) y otras en Terrassa y Sabadell (Barcelona) pintadas en el templo, al fresco y al oleo. Gran Premio Internacional de Cannes (1964). El Gobierno Francés le otorgó la "Gran Croix du Commandeur au Mérite National Française".
