About the Item
"Detrás", Behind, it is a work that invites reflection and contemplation. Its square format and careful composition divide the space into two vertical strips, each with its own symbolism and atmosphere. In the main strip, located to the viewer's right, emerges the figure of a Venus behind an imposing cypress tree. The Venus, bathed in a golden light that evokes the sunset, seems to yearn for intimacy. This figure, which is an adaptation of the sculpture “Admiración” located in the Prado Museum, contains a beauty that invites reflection on femininity and human nature. In contrast, the left strip presents an earthy background with the silhouette of the same Venus, but this time painted in blue tones that suggest a shadow. This duality of tones and forms between the two stripes adds depth and mystery to the composition, as if we were observing two facets of the same entity, one tangible and the other ethereal. The color textures are another highlight of this work, masterfully highlighted by glazes that add richness and depth to the palette.

"Theories II" is a surrealist work that explores human theories through time. In the center, two heads of classical sculptures emerge against a divided background. The head of Dionysus, in earthy tones, projects a vision that distorts reality, symbolizing man's illusory perspective. From this vision emerge colorful forms that converge towards a floating book...
