Juan Collado Y Anton is a Spanish artist born in Barcelona in 1948. His colorful paintings are in the manner of the French impressionists at the end of the 19th century. His artworks depict the vibrant life of the city in Spain. Barcelona street scenes and cafés are favorite features of the artist. The colors and the movement of the subjects are transferred on site directly from real life to the canvas, bringing a feeling of being transported there in person.
