About the Item
The piece is part of a series loosely based on figurines I have come across in vintage shops, the figures often being moulded in one with the base, I thought it would be fun to do one of my Cheetahs in this style and happy with the results have continued with number 3. I used washes of fluorescent orange acrylic and then dry brushed with metallic brass enamel to create depth and richness before dropping the spots on.

Adam Bartlett is a former fashion print designer who studied textiles at Manchester University and is now a full time artist, specialising painting and illustration; common themes are that of nature (jungle and tigers) and still life, both abstract and surreal, inspired by a mixture of Mughal and contemporary art. His recent clients include the Zizzi Restaurants, Easy and Ibis Hotel chains; producing large scale mural art and wallpapers.
