Black and white painting of a woman by acclaimed bluegrass musician Katherine "Kathy" Kallick (American, b. 1952). The model is nude, leaning back on a striped couch, with her arm propped up on pillows.
Unsigned, but was acquired with a collection of the artist's work.

Katherine Kallick (American, b. 1952) studied painting at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1973-1977. She discovered her interest in bluegrass while living in San Francisco, and co-founded the internationally acclaimed group Good Ol' Persons. She has since gone on to release 22 albums.
