Lee Wells Head of Antinous, Olympia Series 2ndCAD, 2019 Gold pigment and acrylic polymer on canvas 100 x 100 cm (39.4 x 39.4 inches) Signed, titled and dated on verso Lee Wells (b.1971) is a conceptual artist, curator and founder of the independent platform IFAC Arts which is based in New York and Athens Greece. His artwork and projects question systems of power and control and have been exhibited internationally, including the 51st Venice Biennale, 2nd Moscow Biennial, The Guggenheim Museum, and PS1/MoMA. He has lectured on contemporary art, technology, and behavioral social psychology at many schools and universities including: Columbia University, Princeton University, New York University, Carnegie Mellon, School of Visual Arts, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Moscow School of Photography, and others.  His projects and exhibitions have been reviewed, publications include: The New York Times, The NY Observer, The Art Newspaper, Rolling Stone, Brooklyn Rail, and Art in America.
