Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (Issued by the Gallery) About Artist Loje Oluwaseun Joy is a Nigerian female artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. She was born on February 2nd, 1990 in Ondo state and was raised in the Ketu area of Lagos state. Art has been a huge part of Loje’s life right since she was a kid. She derives her inspiration from daily activities that happen within her environment and social life. She studied Art and Industrial Design in Lagos state where she obtained her HND in painting. She then went on to do her industrial Training at the Abdulsalam Art Concept Center under the supervision of Mr Abdulsalam Abdulkareem. Loje works with different mediums such as acrylic, oil color, watercolor, magazines as well as rubber, and renders her art excellently. She depicts her artworks in different styles like realism, abstraction, mixed media, impressionism, and impasto. She is also a mural artist and handmade fabric painter. She resides and works as a full-time studio artist in Lagos, Nigeria. Loje Oluwaseun has participated in; – The Sister’s Art Exhibition, a group show of budding female artists at Terra Culture, Lagos in 2019 – iDesign Affordable Art Exhibition at Thought Pyramid Gallery Lagos in 2020 – Hervim Exhibition by Kakaaki Gallery in 2021
