Dimensions WITHOUT frame in cm 50 x 60 Dimensions WITH frame in cm 68 x 78 This picturesque work of art by Ludwig Gschussmann captures the idyllic moment of a beach ride in a fascinating way. Gschichtmann, known for his lively depictions and his sense of atmosphere, lets the work of art shine with warm colors and impressive brushstrokes. Key Features: Motif: A group of riders riding their horses along the beach is depicted. The posture of the riders and horses conveys movement and the joy of the moment. Background: The extensive beach, bordered by a gentle sea horizon, creates a calming backdrop. The play of light and shadow refracted through the cloudy sky gives the image depth and dimension. The coarse and fine brushstrokes create an almost impressionistic effect, bringing movement and life into the picture. Color Palette: Warm earth tones dominate the image, with accents of blue and white highlighting the sky and sea. Signature: The artist's signature, "L. Gschussmann", is located at the bottom of the picture, which confirms the authenticity of the work. Ludwig Gschussmann's painting "Beach Ride" is an outstanding example of his ability to capture everyday scenes with an almost magical quality. The painting captures the freedom and adventure of a beach ride and invites the viewer to lose themselves in this scenery and escape from everyday life for a moment. It is a valuable piece for art lovers and those who appreciate the beauty of nature and equestrian sports.

Biography Orovida Camille Pissarro, the only child of Lucien and Esther Pissarro, was the first woman in the Pissarro family to become a professional artist and the first Pissarro of her generation to take up painting. Born in Epping, England, in 1893, she lived and worked predominantly in London, where she was a prominent member of several British arts clubs and societies. She first learned to paint in the Impressionist style from her father and, after a brief period of formal study with Walter Sickert in 1913, she renounced formal art schooling. Throughout her career, Orovida always remained outside mainstream British art movements. Much to Lucien's disappointment, she soon turned away from naturalistic painting and developed an unusual style that combined elements of Japanese, Chinese, Persian and Indian art. Her rejection of Impressionism, which, for the Pissarro family, was a way of life, and her simultaneous decision to drop her famous last name and use simply Orovida as a nom de peintre, reflected a desire for independence and distance from the family legacy, of which she nevertheless remained proud. Orovida's most distinctive works are her paintings from the 1920s...

Orovida's most distinctive and notable works were produced from the period of 1919 to 1939 using her own homemade egg tempera applied in thin, delicate washes to silk, linen or paper and sometimes embellished with brocade borders. These elegant and richly decorative works generally depict Eastern, Asian and African subjects, such as Mongolian horse...
