Untitled Mohammad Ariyaei Contemporary Iranian art painting oriental art drawing
By Mohammad Ariyaei
Located in Paris, FR
Acrylic painting on paper Hand-signed by the artist lower left Unique work THE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS OF MOHAMMAD ARIYAEI " Gentleness and oriental wisdom follow the supercharged bubbling to which we were accustomed from the previous deliberately art brut exhibition by Mohammad ARIYAEI. The Iranian painter's imagination moves serenely from the wildest frenzy to the meditative calm of great, fabulous stories. The artist then took pleasure in pouring the volcanic torrent of his barbaric figures onto the delicate latticework with which he is accustomed to lining his backgrounds with the patience of an illuminating monk. Already sweetness and paroxysm coexisted. Now gentleness wins. The trained imagination of the painter, yet spontaneously bubbling, by instinct as much as by erudition, has no difficulty in reconnecting with the abundant oriental tradition of the thousand and one nights, which, like a long underground river, resurfaces at the light of his painting. Spring renewal of traditions still alive. Systematic filling of space, a sort of oriental version of the Riches Heures...

A Woman of My Dream II - Original Figurative Portrait Painting on Canvas
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Mohamad Khayata’s original figurative artworks are the result of five years of displacement and deal with themes of migration, memory, and identity. Mohamad’s paintings convey an array of emotions, ranging from bliss and comfort to tension and uncertainty. Many of his paintings portray a sense of transience, which is all the more palpable when considering that Khayata's intimate work is a tribute to displaced people and to their daily life stories that, far from familiar surroundings, are filled with effort and hope. Khayata created this original painting with acrylic on canvas. It is 39 inches tall by 31 inches wide. It is signed by the artist on the back of the canvas. This painting is stretched, wired, and ready to hang. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included with this original work. Born in Damascus, Syria, artist Mohamad Khayata was forced to flee his home country due to ongoing political conflict. Khayata has been living in Beirut, Lebanon since 2012. His work is a resounding call for transformation and unity within his home country. His photography project "Stitching my Syria back" was chosen to be part of Journeys Festival International 2016 as a landmark for the “Look up” project in Leicester, where his photographs were installed on ten buildings. In the last five years, Khayata also participated in ten collective exhibitions across Europe and the Middle East. Holding his BA in Fine Arts obtained at Damascus University, Khayata is a bastion of Syrian legacy, memory, home, and happiness. The separation of the beloved Mohammad Ariyaei 21st Century oustider Iranian art
By Mohammad Ariyaei
Located in Paris, FR
Acrylic paint on paper Hand-signed on the left « Here the barbaric or savage ceremonies of New Guinea take on the air of Rio carnival. Here the vitality bursts and the colors dance the jig while thundering. A charivari of African masks, children's drawings and neon colors invades the meticulously meshed backdrops with volcanic overflows. It seems that within a kindergarten class, merry feathered wizards have joined together to cover the canvas or the paper with totemic figures strewn with the most inventively unexpected graffiti, in a creative frenzy so bubbling that the anarchy that threat recovers as in spite of itself a semblance of balance. The graphic design performs an enveloping and virtuoso dance that passes from the most wisely academic exercise to the most exuberant and Dionysian lyrical expressionism. It's flamboyant, paroxysmal and wonderfully joyful. Should we detect here any influence of the spirit of "outsider art", today widespread worldwide? Perhaps, but then it is undeniable that the personal temperament of Mohammad ARIYAEI...
