About the Item
Acrylic on canvas
Manana Eloshvili is a Georgian artist born in 1962 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. Since 1999, she is a member of the Georgian Artists Union. At the beginning of her artistic path who held two solo exhibitions in Tbilisi, at Karvasla and the Museum of Medal Art. Since then, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions. Her artworks now reside in many private collections across the world. In parallel with painting, she writes poetry and short stories. For Manana, these forms of expression are not separate. They flow into one another, shifting from image to word and from word back to color and line. She determines her creative process as a continuous transition, a dialogue between the visual and the poetic, echoing my inner aesthetics and expressing a single drop of the cosmic order. Her exploration of art extends beyond the surface. She delves into its deeper, spiritual layers through both an esoteric-surrealist perspective and emotional-impulsive dimensions. Recently, she published a book titled Revived Myths, which brings together her poetry and paintings, forming an intimate synthesis of vision and voice.
Manana does not distinguish between art and life. For her, they are inseparable as a unified experience. Inspiration often arrives through silent struggles, through invisible tensions and pain, yet it is in those moments that a sudden flash of happiness can appear fleeting, dreamlike, but powerful enough to illuminate everything. She does not claim to know my mission, but she strives to uncover the hidden mysteries of the world, not to provoke, but to gently guide the viewer toward the same sense of wonder that gave birth to her own inspiration. A painting for the artist is a mediator. She would rather it capture a single beautiful moment than reflect sorrow. And if she was to be called something, she would wish to be known as: “An artist — a mediator of happiness through paintings.”

Ocean Blue Abstract Expressionist

Large Blue Abstract Expressionist artist signed and titled.
Jerzy Kubina Polish/American Artist: Jerzy was born in Zamosc, Poland, 1956. Studied at the Academy Of Fine Arts in Krakow 1981/1986 in the painting department under individual instructions of prof. Jan Szancenbach. He decided to immigrate to New York in 1986. Jerzy constructs large scale images on silk using technologies to create layers, textures, translucency. He is searching for a language that expresses the ideas inside. Sometimes the paintings are quiet and translucent, and then suddenly become very dramatic. There is a symbiotic relationship between him and the materials.
Jerzy Kubina has exhibited his work widely in the US, including at Soho New York's first-ever gallery, the esteemed O. K. Harris. He has also shown internationally, in Paris, Poland and Mexico. Kubina graduated Magna Cum Laude from the M. A. program of The Academy of Fine Arts, Cracow, Poland.
Artist Statement.
"I do not limit myself to a classical representation of an image. I'm in constant search of new media which not only enriches the subject but also inspires me to new forms of expression. Visual appreciation is a creative exercise performed in a specified time and a specific emotional state. The subject must be individual and unique. I do not attempt to keep a tight rein on my art’s framework, but give myself the opportunity to individualize each of the works. My present concerns are of the sacred and the profane, always longing for harmony, accompanied by destruction and devastation, my inner world translates that pulse into color images. My new works are a continuation of the process of creating art for art's sake.
